HEALTH CARE PROJECTS
OSF Center for Health (Streator, IL) – 85,000 SF

The Project scope includes converting an existing hospital into a new center for health that would include imaging services, PT/OT therapy, physician clinics and a freestanding emergency center. Responsibilities included leading the planning of the project.

Al Moosa Specialty Hospital (Al Ahsa, Saudi Arabia) - 450,000 sf
  • Lake Forest Hospital Clinic Project (Lake Forest, IL)- 500,000 SF
    The project involved planning and design of 5 clinics, which included Cardiovascular Services, Oncology, Ortho-Neuro, Multispecialty and Women’s Imaging. Responsibilities included leading the planning phase of the project and working with the data analysis team.
  • Northwestern Medicine: Vernon Hills Clinic (Vernon Hills, IL) - 22,000 SF
    The 2-story clinic includes Immediate Care and Imaging services on the first floor and Specialty Care services on the second floor. Lead the planning and design phase of the project.
  • Northwestern Medicine Neuro Clinic Project – (Chicago, IL) - 25,500 SF
    Located on the 19th floor of the 259 east Erie Outpatient Pavilion the project scope included the Neurology and Neuroscience Clinics. Lead the planning and design phase of the project.
Advocate Christ Medical Center : (Oak lawn, IL)
  • Ambulatory Pavilion Project - 330,000 SF
    The 9 story Ambulatory facility includes the Cancer Institute, Cardiac Institute, and Neuroscience Institute along with Ambulatory D&T services. Responsibilities on the project involved design development and construction documentation of the Diagnostic and Treatment areas, which included the Imaging Department, Surgery Department, Pulmonary Function and Testing Department.
  • Emergency Department - 63,000 SF
    Expansion and renovation of the existing 25,000 SF unit to 63,000 sf department in order to provide a patient centered delivery of emergency care in a safe and efficient environment. Lead the planning and design phase of the project.
  • Pharmacy Project – 15,000 SF
    Expansion and renovation of the existing pharmacy to be USP 797 compliant and include the latest technology. Lead the planning and design phase of the project
  • Simulation Center – 6000 SF
    Creating the first Simulation center for Advocate Health system that would then be replicated in 9 of their other centers. Responsibility included leading the planning and design for the project.
The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago
  • The Ability Institute of RIC (Chicago,IL)-1.2 million SF
    The 28 story Translational Medicine, Research and Rehabilitation Hospital will infuse 21st-century biomedical science into the clinical environment to help patients achieve the best recovery. Involved in the design and planning of the translational medicine spaces in the new hospital.
Parkland Hospital
  • Acute Care Replacement Hospital (Dallas, TX) - 1.9 million SF
    The new Parkland Replacement Hospital with adult-bed full service acute care hospital, outpatient center, office center, parking, central plant, and other support facilities is to achieve a new healthcare campus. Responsibilities on the project involved schematic design of the 573 bed Acute Care Patient Tower which included Dialysis, Medical Surgical Unit, Orthopedic Unit, Acute Burn Unit, Psychiatric Unit, Rehab Unit and an Inmate Unit.
Ball Memorial Hospital
  • Cardiac Bed Tower (Muncie, IN) - 180,000 SF
    108-bed Cardiac patient tower including various Rehabilitation areas. Responsibilities involved schematic, design development and construction documentation including user group meetings and client presentations.
Saint Francis Hospital (OSF)
  • IMRI Project (Peoria, IL) - 4500 SF
    Designed an Intraoperative MRI project for OSF. Involved from the conceptual design through construction.
Midwestern Regional Medical Center - Cancer Treatment Centers of America (Zion, IL)
  • Master Plan Development
    Consulting services to assess business plan impact on Midwestern Regional Medical Center facilities and outline recommendations for future building renovation and expansion to meet operational needs.
  • Outpatient Clinic: 16,400 SF
    The 3 story Outpatient Clinic addition included two floors of clinical exam room space and 1 floor of Infusion clinic for cancer patients Responsibilities included conductinguser group meetings and executing schematic and design development documents.
  • Pharmacy Project - 2,500 SF
    Designed a USP 797 compliant Pharmacy Clean Room project, which included Chemo and IV preparation areas. Executed the design development and construction document drawings and assisted in the construction administration process
  • Stem Cell Infusion Center - 2,600SF
    Responsibilities involved schematic design, design development, construction documentationand permit processing of the Stem Cell Infusion Clinic for cancer patients.
  • Linear Accelerator Expansion Project - 3,500SF
    Executed the construction documents of a new Radiation Treatment Linear Accelerator vault and associated support space.
