Trekking, Travelling, Music, History &
Science, visit to Wildlife and Nature Park
are my Hobbies.
: Valley of Flowers in Himalayas near Badrinath and near Gangaria –
visited the site alongwith a guide and witnessed 125 types of
flowers but unfortunately could not see Brahma Kamal flower, which
is a religious flower.
: Trekked the mountains for the last 15 years at various heights
like Kailas Mansarovar at a height of 15000 to 18000 feet, Pindari
Glacier and "0" point of Pindari Glacier at a height of 13000 ft.
and Kafni Glacier and "0" point of
glacier at the height of 14000 ft. Attempted Mana Peak at a height
of 24000 ft. but could not go beyond 21000 ft, due to bad weather
conditions. Trekked upto Everest base camp – on point at a height of
18000 ft and above reached Kala Pathar Peak at the height of approx.
22000 ft, went upto Gokeo Lake and Gokeo peak about 18000 ft. height
or thereabout and crossed from Gangotri to Badrinath through Kalindi
pass at the height of 16000 ft. or thereabout, the toughest trek in
Himalaya. Trekked in Leh-Ladakh as well and visited Kargil, Tiger
Hills, Tolloling Hills at Dras as well as Khar Dongla pass at the
height of 18000 ft above sea level. Interested in sports like
rafting, para-gliding, snow-skying, water-skying, music, reading,
writing, friendship, and travelling. Local trekking done at
Manikgarh (Panvel), Irshalgarh (between Matheran and Panvel),
Korigarh (south of Lonavala), Lohagarh (close to hill station
Lonavala), Kalsubai (Igatpuri), Kohoj fort (Palghar), Kotligarh
(Karjat – Murbad road), Pratapgarh (Satara district), Pawana dam
(pune), Vishalgarh (Panhala), Prabalgarh (between Matheran and
Panvel), Purandar fort (south east of pune), Tikona fort (Kamseth),
Vishramgarh (Nashik), Torna fort (Igatpuri), Kass Pathar (Satara),
Malsej ghat (western ghat range in Pune). Dodhani fall (Panvel),
Solanpada dam (Karjat), Mira dongar (Panvel), Ghambirgarh (Thane
district), Bhimashankar (northwest of Khed), Dukenose (Khandala),
Kaldurg(, Palghar) and Sagargarh (Alibaug-Pen road).
In the year 2006 went to Honolulu, Hawai, Nhai Island, Big Island to
study the formation of live lava and how the lava is formed from the
bottom of the sea with the help of lava to the extent of coming
above sea level and creating a beautiful un-expected island. Also,
being a tourist, visited the famous Club place, designed by a famous
Architect as well as resort in the Lanhai Island, where the big
event of marriage of Bill Gate of Microsoft took place.
In the year 2007, went to Alaska, a beautiful wide island full of
natural resources, sub-divided between 2 great countries i.e. Canada
and USA. Full of snows with beautiful wild sanctuary, where some
times as the peak temperature goes down to – 0.46 degree C, also
witnessed the beautiful ORA in the sky due to long days and long
night which
was unimaginable and not expected to ever experience in life and
when witnessed, it was very unbelievable and mesmerising.
In the year 2008, I visited Europe, London and America and evaluated
the Wonders of the World some of which are Stockholm, Helsinki, San
Peterburg, Kiel, Copehnagen, Hellesylt, Bergen, Stavanger, Oslo,
Fjallgatam and enjoyed the culture as well as beauty of these
countries. I have also visited Honolulu and Hawai Group of Islands
as well as Alaska and also covered Northern and Eastern coast of
USA, including Canada, part of America via Vancover city of Canada,
Scandinavian countries i.e. northern part of Europe and covered
Finland, Denmark, Holland old Leningard in Russia.
In the year 2009, I visited Atlanta and enjoyed its beauty.
In the year 2010, I visited the Antartic Peninsula and travelled to
Sao Paulo City, which was made in 1554, Rio De Janeiro, Iguazu
falls, Brazil, Argentina, Iguazu falls – Bunoes Aires, Elephant
Island Antarctica, Deception Island, Cape Horn, Scenic Cruising,
Ushula, Tierra Del Fuego, Punta Arenas, Chile, Falkland Island
(Stanley) Montevideo Uruguary, all in cruise and enjoyed the beauty
of these places.
In the year 2010, I have also travelled to Bahamas and enjoyed its
natural beauty.
In the year 2011 during the period from 19.02.2011 to 09.05.2011 I
travelled to Panama, Norwegian Pearl, Miami, Cartagena, Colombia,
Panambva Canal, Puntarenas, Costa Rica, Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala,
Huatulca, Mexico, Acapulco, Cabo San Lucas, Los Angeles etc.
In the year 2012, during the period 23.01.2012 to 06.02.2012 I have
travelled to Leh-Ladakh and did Chadar-Trekking. This trip was a
very fruitful one. For travelling this area we have to carry
footwear – with woolen socks, thinner nylon socks, shoes - should be
snow boot, floaters and sandals etc. During the period from 15th
December, 2012 to 21st December, 2012 I have visited Agra and
Khajuraho, where I enjoyed the Western and Eastern group of temples,
water falls and Panna National Park.
In the year 2013 - during the period 16.8.2013 to 16.09.2013 I
travelled to Istambul via Ankara, Cappadocia, Pasahagi, Kusadasi,
Canakkale and then again to Istanbul and enjoyed the beauty of that
country. During the period 23.8.2013 to 16.09.2013 I also travelled
around Istanbul and enjoyed its beauty. We have visited “Sultan
Ahmed Center” the heart of the “Old City” from the Byzantine and
Ottoman Empires who ruled Hagia
Sophia, one of the greatest marvels of architecture. travelled one
full day in Istanbul with Cruise, visited Anatolian Civilizations
Museum. Optical balloon tour was also done. Thereafter visited
Pasabagi (Mon’s valley). During the visit we saw magnificently
preserved cemetery “Necropolis”, Bishop’s palace etc.etc. etc.
In the year 2014 during the period 03.01.2014 to 16.01.2014, I
travelled to Nairobi and also surrounding areas of South Africa and
Sun City Johannesburg, in Mossel Bay, saw the Wildlife Sanctuary
having all types of animals like tiger`, cheetah, leopard, vultures
and Crocodile Farm. We also saw “Cape of Good Hope”, the most south
Western point of African Continent and on the way back visited
Penguin Park.
In the year 2014, during the period 20.03.2014 to 14.04.2014, I
travelled to Chicago, Toronto and New York at U.S and enjoyed the
beauty of these metro cities.
During the period 27.07.2014 to 23.08.2014, I travelled to Beijing
in China, and visited Titanium Square, Forbidden City and Houbai
Hutongs and saw the Great Wall of China. Travelled by train to
Saishand, Gobi and visited sandy dunes, organic project and museum.
From here I travelled to Ulaanbaatar and saw Hustai National park
and viewed wild Pizewalshi horse herds. From here I visited Ulan-Ude
where I saw “Old Believers village”. From here I travelled to
Irkutsk and here I visited “Lake Baikal Museum”. From there, I
travelled to Krasnoyarsk and visited Victory Memorial, Local
Ethnographic Museum etc. Then i travelled by train to Yekaterinburg
and Sverdlovsk, where I saw historical centres, founders and
communist leaders, 1905 Revolution Square etc. etc. and at
Koptetovo village I saw 300 years old traditional Siberian “izba”
house.
From here I travelled to Kazan and saw old churches and then
proceeded to Moscow in Russia. Here I have visited many sites like
Aleksandrovsk Gardens, Red Square, St. Basil Cathedral, Cathedral of
Christ etc. etc. and from here I travelled to Kremlin, a very
historical City and also the heart of Russia and visited upper
Kremlin Gardens. From here I visited st. Petersburg where also there
are so many old churches and palaces, which are heritage sites.
During the period 04.07.2015 to 18.08.2015 I travelled to Chicago
and also toured in Bermuda in cruise and enjoyed the beauty of that
country.
During the year 2016 I travelled from Mumbai to New York on
15.04.2016 and from New York to Toronto on 27.04.2016 and also from
Toronto to Chicago on 04.05.2016 and we saw catskils mountains,
poconose mountains, Toranto international park, blue mountains, flag
staff, grand canyon, lake powel, glen canyon dam, capitol reef and
Colorado river and California zephyr, zion national park, Bryce
canyon national park and returned from Chicago to Mumbai on
30.05.2016 and during my stay at these Cities I have enjoyed the
beauty of these cities.
During the period from 15.01.2017 to 25.01.2017
I travelled to Andaman & Nikobar Island. On 16.01.2017, I proceeded
for a full day cruising towards Ross Island, the erstwhile capital
of Port Blair during British regime and Chidiya Tapu, generally
known as the Bird Island and experienced the breath taking sunset,
all of which creates a mesmerizing environment. On 17.01.2017,
visited Rangat, Baratang, Mud Volcano, Lkime Store Cave, Aamkunj
Beach, Brake water, Pachabati Fall and Cutbery Beach. On 18.01.2017,
visited Ross & Smith Island. On 19.01.2017, visited Alfred Caves,
Mud Volcano,
Kalipur Beach. On 20.01.2017, visited Maya Bandar and Karmatang
Beach. On 21.01.2017,
visited Havelock Island, Radhanagar Beach, rated by the Times
Magazine as the finest beach among
the best beaches in Asia. On 22.01.2017, visited Neil Island,
Sitapur, Baratpur Beach and Coral
Point. On 23.01.2017, visited Cellular jail and attended Light and
Sound Show at Cellular Jail.
During the period from 22.04.2017 to 26.04.2017, I have travelled to
Dharma shala. On 23.04.2017, visited Tibetan Library, Tibetan
Medical and Astrological Centre, Tibetan centre for learning and
preserving traditional Tibetan art and craft, Karamapa Monastery,
Dharamshala Cricket Stadium and Dharamshala Tea Gardens. On
24.04.2017, visited His Holiness The Dalai Lama to seek his
blessings and took photograph with him. Then visited Naddi village,
Bhagsu Nag village by walking, Dip Tse Chokling monastery in the
middle of forest. On 25.04.2017, gone to Galu Devi, the starting
point of the trek and end up the trek in Bhagsu Nag.
During the period from 20.05.2017 to 10.07.2017, I travelled to
United States of America. Visited the Grand Canyon National Park,
Antelope, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Grand
Stair case Escalante National Monument, Capitol Reef National Park,
Dead Horse Point State Park, Arches National Park, California Zephy
across the Rocky Mountains, Grand canyon site seeing, salt lake and
have enjoyed the beauty of these cities.
During the period from 04.05.2018 to 03.07.2018, I have travelled to
United State of America. Visited Denver, American Rockies, Jackson
Hole, Grand Tenton, Yellow Stone National Park, Dead Wood, Custer
National Park, Crazy Horse, Colonial Rapid City, Hill City,
Keystone, Cody, Mount Rushmore, Lake Geneva, Cape May, Brookfield
Shopping Plaza, Canadian Rockers, Lake louise Ski Resort, Bnaff
National Park, London Ontario, Gleanwood Springs, Buffalo Bill,
Black Hills, Site seeing in Calgary, Toronto and have enjoyed the
beauty of these cities.

During the period from 04.08.2018 to 13.08.2018, I have travelled to
Lahaul – Spiti & Pin Valley National Park, which is in the northern
district of Himachal Pradesh. Pin Valley National Park is situated
in the cold desert region of Spiti valley with its snow laden slopes
and is a refuge for one of the world’s most threatened animals, the
Snow Leopard. The park is also home to Siberian Ibex and Tibetan
Wolf. Visited Raghupur Fort, Shoja, Kinnaur Valley, Rampur Palace,
Naptha Jhakri, Kalpa, Nako Lake, Tabo, Dhankar Lake, Pin Valley
National Park, Ibex spotting point, Thur, Kibber and Gyete Villages,
Spiti River, Kaza, Chandertal-the lake of the moon, Manali and
Delhi.
